Al-Rayan covers the whole-spice and dry-grocery end of the aisle: cinnamon stick, green cardamom, fennel, methi seed, fried onion and aromatic chinigura rice for polao. These are the lines a South Asian household buys every few weeks, not once a year, which is what makes them worth the shelf space.
